Installing the Google Toolbar

Going through your search engine optimization plan for your web site can be challenging at times. A great tool to install to help you out is Google’s toolbar. This particular toolbar is an add-on for both the Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox web browsers.

Google’s toolbar includes several features that have been proven useful during the search engine optimization stage. These features include PageRank (a tool to highlight a specific keyword on a page), and AutoFill (eliminate the time that it takes to type the same information over and over again).

The PageRank feature is a numerical value ranging from 1-10 that acts an indicator of the importance Google has assigned to the individual web page. It is available for any web site that you visit. If you are searching for linking partners, higher PageRank web sites are more attractive targets to invest in.

The Google Toolbar offers standard and custom installation options. The standard installation does not offer some of the same useful features as the custom installation includes.
